You laugh at the word “forever”. Promises are rarely made, if not, expected to be broken. Texts aren’t the same. Falling asleep on the phone isn’t the same either. Everything you once did with your ex will be compared to the next, and most of the time it isn’t any better. This is why it’s hard to fall in love again after your first.
